Agreement 1.0
Patriot Platform Membership and Governance Agreement
13 October 2026
This agreement sets out our commitment to common law education, responsible self-government and service to the community. It explains what members promise, what the organisation promises in return, how decisions are made and what happens when these rules are broken.
1 Parties and commencement
This agreement is between the member identified on the signature page and Patriot Platform Earth, of Australia, contact mike@mikeholtshow.com, called “Patriot Platform” or “the organisation”. The domain name alone does not identify the contracting party.
By signing, I apply to join and intend to enter a binding membership agreement. The organisation accepts these same rules and its responsibilities below. This agreement takes effect when the organisation records its acceptance and sends me written confirmation. Submission alone does not create membership. No membership certificate is issued before acceptance and completion of the signature record.
2 Our shared purpose
We work to educate, and activate patriots so that we can all unite to protect and empower our communities; to respect individual rights and private property; and to develop capable, accountable representatives who serve the people. We seek government that answers to the people through informed participation, representative decision-making and peaceful democratic reform.
Regional groups address local needs and cooperate nationally when a wider response is required. We support families, small businesses and people who need assistance, with particular care for children and vulnerable people. Membership is open without a religious test. Personal beliefs are respected; meetings are not to be used to impose them on others. We are building a non-denominational organisation based on our rights and freedoms. Religious beliefs are personal and we do not discuss religion in any of our discussions. Our ancestors fought for centuries to separate religion from government for good reason. We see no good reason to attempt to combine them. Everything most religions teach is embodied in our common law principles.
3 Our common law commitment
I commit to studying common law principles and putting honesty, personal responsibility, fairness and respect for people and property into practice. I will seek to prevent harm, honour my commitments and take responsibility when my actions cause harm. I will consider evidence, distinguish proposals from established law and correct material errors I discover.
This agreement governs a voluntary organisation and its members. It does not itself create public governmental, policing, judicial or taxation powers, bind non-members, or exempt anyone from applicable law. Our proposals for people’s government are pursued through peaceful, lawful and democratic means.
Membership and democratic governance
4 Member rights and responsibilities
I will provide accurate membership details, keep my contact information and home region current, and use only one membership identity. Membership is for adults aged 18 or over. I will participate within my abilities, respect meeting procedures and complete any training required for a role I voluntarily seek once that training is formally adopted and available.
In return, Patriot Platform will provide fair access to member meetings, available educational resources, participation opportunities and the records described below. Members may propose motions, nominate for eligible roles, vote, question leaders and make complaints without retaliation. A genuine disagreement, good-faith criticism or refusal to join an optional activity is not misconduct.
PatriotPlatform will provide a free, downloadable digital voting app, based on the blockchain and protected with the strongest possible encryption to protect our privacy possible. We will conduct regular security checks on the voting app to ensure it remains safe and secure for our use.
Each active member has one vote on national member ballot and one vote in their recorded home region. Visiting another region does not create extra voting rights. Should a member relocate to a new region, or if they no longer wish to participate in the governance of their region, they may resign by written notice at any time. Once they do, this agreement becomes null and void and they lose all benefits and rights protected under this agreement.
Membership does not create personal liability for another member’s debts or authorise others to act in their name.
5 Regional organisation
A developing group may meet with fewer than twelve members. A recognised regional assembly requires twelve accepted members and an elected administration team. Website group activation may identify an approved coordinator before this threshold is reached; it does not yet confer governmental authority. That will be decided by the people voting on a referendum question.
Regional members elect a coordinator, secretary and treasurer for one-year terms. The coordinator facilitates meetings, the secretary maintains records, and the treasurer reports on funds. The coordinator may serve no more than three consecutive terms. Founders receive no permanent office, special vote or exemption from these rules.
Regional proposals must be presented to the people with sufficient time to allow them to consider the proposal before voting opens. Elections and removal motions require fourteen days’ notice, including the proposed decision before a vote is opened on the question. The quorum is the greater of five members or 20% of active regional members, rounded up. Decisions require more than half of valid votes cast; ties fail.
A member may propose removal of an office holder, supported by another member, and an Affidavit submitted to the local regional governing body. After notice and an opportunity for the office holder to respond, removal requires two-thirds of valid votes cast. Loss of office does not itself terminate membership. Vacancies are filled by election within thirty days; any interim appointment expires at that election.
6 National coordination and representation
Each recognised region elects one delegate for a one-year term to a National Council. Each delegate has one Council vote and reports back to the region and they may be replaced if they do not perform their duties to the satisfaction of the vote by regional members.
The Council elects a national coordinator, secretary and treasurer from its delegates for one-year terms. It coordinates shared resources and approved national activities within recorded budgets and mandates; it cannot rewrite this agreement unilaterally.
Council decisions require seven days’ notice, attendance by more than half of serving delegates and more than half of votes cast. National coordination does not require every member to attend every activity. Any future training qualification governs eligibility for organisational roles or endorsement; it does not itself determine eligibility for public office.
Conduct and stewardship
7 Respectful conduct and peaceful action
I agree to treat members and the public with dignity, listen to others and allow fair participation. I will not threaten, harass, bully, unlawfully discriminate, deliberately disrupt meetings, commit violence, damage property, steal, defraud or knowingly publish false allegations. I will not retaliate against someone who raises a concern honestly.
I will follow reasonable safety directions and act within the authority of my role. No member may claim powers of arrest, search, seizure, taxation or compulsory adjudication merely because of a membership certificate, internal title or vote. Activities conducted in the organisation’s name must have an identified organiser and recorded approval from the responsible regional team or National Council.
I may hold personal views and join other organisations. I must distinguish my personal opinions from an authorised Patriot Platform position and must not use member contact lists to recruit for unrelated activities without the affected people’s permission.
8 Leadership and conflicts of interest
Leaders serve the membership and remain answerable to it. I will disclose any personal, financial or organisational interest that could affect a decision, and withdraw from deciding a matter where I have a conflict. I will not use my role, confidential information or access to members for an undisclosed personal benefit.
Office holders must sign an additional role acceptance describing their duties and authority. They must keep accurate records and hand over organisational accounts, records and property promptly when their role ends. No training course or qualification is created by this agreement.
9 Money property and records
Money and property entrusted to Patriot Platform must be used for approved organisational purposes.
Any member may request the Treasurer to disclose the full accounting details of regional or federal Patriot Platform organisations.
Donations are voluntary.
Any membership fee or compulsory charge requires separate member approval and clear notice before a person commits to pay; signing this agreement does not authorise an unspecified charge.
There must be at least two authorised people managing funds. Every withdrawal or payment requires approval by two authorised people, neither approving their own reimbursement. Keep receipts, a transaction ledger and a register of organisational property. Regional treasurers report at each ordinary meeting; the national team provides quarterly financial summaries to members.
Members may inspect relevant minutes, budgets and financial records on reasonable notice, with private information protected. Office holders serve voluntarily. Documented expenses and separately contracted services may be paid only within an approved budget, with any conflict declared. Organisational assets are not private rewards for office holders.
10 Privacy, communications, and branding
I will protect personal information and use it only for the purpose for which access was authorised. I will not publish signatures, addresses, private complaints or member lists without a proper basis. The organisation will restrict access to records and explain collection, use, retention and member rights in a privacy notice provided before signing.
Essential membership, governance and disciplinary notices are part of administering membership. Optional campaign and newsletter subscriptions require a separate choice and an unsubscribe facility. I will use approved PatriotPlatform.Earth branding only for authorised work, without implying personal endorsement or authority I do not hold. Brand permission and access to private systems end when the relevant role or membership ends.
Complaints and consequences
11 Fair handling of concerns
These rules apply equally to members, coordinators and national officers. A person may send a complaint to the secretary or, if the secretary is involved, another unconflicted national officer. The recipient must acknowledge it within seven days, record the alleged breach and arrange an impartial mediation process. A complaint against national officers must be handled by people independent of those officers.
Where appropriate, the parties should first try respectful discussion or voluntary mediation. A member may have a support person or representative. Any grievance procedure required by applicable law takes priority and must be completed before disciplinary action where the law requires this.
Before a final disciplinary decision, the member must receive the specific allegations, the rules said to have been broken, relevant evidence and possible consequences. Allow at least fourteen days to respond, with reasonable extensions for illness, accessibility or other good reason. The member may provide evidence and be heard by the decision-makers.
A panel of three unconflicted members, appointed by the National Council, decides whether a breach is more likely than not to have occurred on the evidence. Panel members must not be complainants, witnesses or involved in the events. Where independence cannot be achieved internally, obtain an agreed independent reviewer. The panel gives written findings, reasons, consequences and appeal instructions.
12 Proportionate consequences
A proven breach will receive a recorded response proportionate to its seriousness, impact, repetition and any steps taken to repair harm. Available outcomes are: a written warning; a requirement to stop the conduct or complete relevant remedial learning; agreed repair of harm; removal from a role or withdrawal of brand permission; suspension of specified membership privileges for up to ninety days; or termination of membership for serious or repeated breaches.
Minor first breaches should normally receive guidance or a warning. Serious violence, fraud, threats or misuse of confidential information may justify termination without earlier warnings, after the fair process above. This agreement does not authorise fines, confiscation, forced service or compulsory payments for alleged losses. Any compensation must be separately agreed or determined through a competent legal process.
For an immediate safety or data-security risk, an unconflicted officer may take the minimum necessary temporary protective action, such as ending attendance at an event or limiting system access. Give written reasons within forty-eight hours and review within seven days. Any continuation requires recorded reasons and weekly review. It is not a finding of guilt and must comply with applicable law.
13 Appeal and certificate status
The member may appeal within twenty-one days of receiving the decision. Three unconflicted reviewers who took no part in the original matter reconsider it and aim to decide within thirty days, giving written reasons. If a delay is unavoidable, explain it and provide a revised date. Disputed sanctions are paused during appeal unless a reasoned protective restriction remains necessary and lawful. External legal rights are preserved.
After a final suspension or termination, the membership register must show the correct status. A membership certificate must not be presented as proof of current good standing while suspended or after membership ends. Keep the original issue record and record status changes; do not publish complaint details. Unrelated course certificates are not cancelled merely because membership ends.
Changes acceptance and signature
14 Changes and leaving the organisation
Any active member may propose an amendment. The National Council must circulate its exact wording and explanation to every active member at least twenty-eight days before a national ballot closes. Adoption requires at least 75% of valid votes cast and participation by at least 50% of active members. No vote can override applicable law or retrospectively turn permitted conduct into misconduct.
Approved amendments must have a version number, adoption date and prospective start date. Changes that add or materially increase a member’s obligations require fresh express acceptance before applying to that member. Silence is not acceptance. A member who declines a material change may resign without penalty; if membership cannot continue on the old terms, it may end on reasonable written notice without a misconduct finding.
On resignation or termination, return organisational property and cease representing the organisation. Confidentiality and proper handling of records continue where appropriate. A region’s proposed disaffiliation requires twenty-eight days’ notice to all its active members, at least 50% participation and 75% approval of valid votes cast. It cannot resign individual members on their behalf or take their personal data into another organisation without permission.
15 Binding commitment and reciprocal promise
I have had the opportunity to read this agreement, ask questions and obtain advice. I voluntarily accept its responsibilities and fair disciplinary process and intend to be bound by its lawful terms. I understand that breaking these rules can result in loss of privileges, removal from office, suspension or termination of membership. I remain free to question decisions and exercise my legal rights.
Patriot Platform undertakes to follow the same agreement, provide the membership rights described in it, safeguard records and apply decisions fairly. This agreement is governed by the applicable laws of Australia and your State. It does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. An invalid provision is severed only where the remaining agreement can operate fairly.

The member receives a copy of the accepted agreement. CertWright issues the membership certificate only after the signature, version and acceptance record have been saved and validated. The certificate confirms membership, not public office or governmental authority.
